What are we looking for?

We are looking for volunteers who want to participate in pre-enacting a possible future down in the Ark Two shelter in 2012. We will spend a week in the shelter together with Bruce and use this time time explore the challenges which  are ahead of us.

It does not matter if you “believe” that nuclear war is about to happen or not, it does not matter if you think that the world is going to end or not, but what does matter is that you are interested in the world around you, that you care about the people next to you and that you want our planet to last. No matter if you are a farmer, a mechanic, a teacher or an expert in resilience, mathematics, or politics – the project is open to anyone who fulfills the above mentioned criteria.

If you are intersted, please contact me at thearkexperiment@gmail.com

Apart from that we are (obviously) looking for donations, funding and any other support you can offer.

Thanks a lot & I am looking forward to hearing from you!

What is the timeframe where individuals need to be present?

    Hi there,

We do not have any concrete dates yet as we are in the process of raising the funds which takes its time, but we are hoping for it to happen in late 2012, probably autumn, possibly even winter (does not matter as in the shelter the temperature is constant all year round). It will take about a week.

Hope that helps, please feel free to ask as many questions as you want and also to sign up for updates on the main page.

Thanks a lot & all the best,

    Sepp
